Daily Practices for the Week

I often have clients who are very interested in practicing mindfulness between therapy sessions, but may not know where to begin.

This is a simple weekly practice that I recommend.

Gratitude
Write down three things each day that you feel gratitude for. You might even have a friend who does this too, and you can exchange and share these with your Sangha (like minded community).

Serving
One intentional act of kindness.

Savoring
When you notice a moment of happiness or joy, take a pause, and for at least 30 seconds really let it soak in. For me, so far this morning, warm clothes out of the dryer, the soft fur of my English Lab, a perfect espresso.
