Mindfulness for Young People Seminar
Dr. Siddique will be leading a Mindfulness for Youth seminar for AALEAD, through the IGNITE! Find the Passion Within program, for Middle and High Schoolers. AALEAD (Asian American Youth Leadership Empowerment And Development) supports low income and underserved Asian Pacific American youth with educational empowerment, identity development, community growth, and leadership opportunities through after school, summer, and mentoring programs. Film Screening, Panel Discussion and Q&A for “Angst” Documentary
Dr. Siddique will be participating in a panel discussion and Q&A, on teens and anxiety, following a viewing of the documentary “Angst” at Oakton HS, Fairfax County, on Mon. 10/28, at 7 pm. The film, designed to raise awareness about anxiety in teens, includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. The Q and A session is intended for parents and students.
